Terms of Service

1. The service

PagePal lets you generate, edit, publish and host a website. You are the publisher and data controller of your site: you are solely responsible for its content and its legal compliance (privacy, cookies, imprint, consumer and copyright law). Our generated legal pages, cookie banner and consent tooling are templates and technical aids — not legal advice, and no guarantee of compliance. Review AI-generated content before publishing; you warrant you hold the rights to material you upload.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account and for the accuracy of the information you provide.

3. Plans, billing & add-ons

Building a site is a one-time charge from €50. Hosting is billed monthly (from €5) — your first month is free, costs only start the next month, and you can cancel every month. Definitions: a 'visitor' is one unique visitor per calendar day as measured by Cloudflare — never raw requests; a 'page' is one published path (legal pages don't count against your limit); a 'design iteration' is one AI design request, whatever its scope. Limits are enforced gently: we warn you around 80% and ask you to upgrade when you're structurally over — we never take a site offline unannounced. Add-ons: a newly generated page is €10 (2 design iterations included), extra iterations €10 each, extra languages €10; team members are free.

4. Refunds

Site generation starts immediately after payment and consumes real compute, so by ordering you ask us to start at once and waive the EU 14-day withdrawal right for the generation once it starts. If an AI change misses the mark, tell us — the 'this didn't work' button grants you a replacement design iteration. Hosting: your first month is free and you can cancel before it ends at no cost.

5. Your content & ownership

You own the content you add — and you own your website. You can export the complete built site (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and your images) at any time and host it anywhere; no exit fees. PagePal's editor, generator and platform remain ours. You grant us the licence needed to host, build, back up and display your site. Our team can access your site solely to operate and support the service; such access is logged.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use PagePal for unlawful, harmful, infringing or deceptive content, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the service. We may suspend sites that breach these terms.

7. Domains

Domains registered through us are subject to the registrar’s terms. You may transfer a domain you own to another provider in line with applicable rules.

8. Availability & liability

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the prior [12] months.

9. Termination

You can cancel hosting anytime, effective at the end of the paid period. Leaving is friendly by design: export your full site first and take it anywhere. At period end we take the live deployment offline; we keep your account data for a short grace period (so drafts aren't lost), then delete it in line with our privacy policy.
