Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE] · This policy is a template pending legal review.

1. Who we are

PagePal (“we”, “us”) operates page-pal.org and the app at app.page-pal.org. The data controller is [LEGAL ENTITY], [ADDRESS]. For any privacy question, contact support@page-pal.org.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email and profile basics when you sign in with Google.
  • Order & billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card details.
  • Site content — the text, images and settings you add to your website.
  • Contact data — anything you send us via the contact form or email.
  • Usage data — only with your consent (see Cookies), via analytics tools.

3. Legal basis & how we use it

We process data to provide the service (contract), to keep it secure and improve it (legitimate interest), to meet legal obligations, and — for analytics — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies needed to run the site. Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar) load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. Cloudflare Turnstile may run to protect forms from spam; it does not track you across sites. You can change your choice anytime by clearing the pp-consent value in your browser.

5. Third parties we share data with

Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, security, domains), and — with consent — Google Analytics and Hotjar. Each processes data under its own terms.

6. Data retention

We keep account and site data for as long as your account is active, and as required by law thereafter. You can ask us to delete your data (see your rights).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these, email support@page-pal.org. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Changes

We’ll post any changes on this page and update the date above.
